Environment Top Priority for Congress

Student Congress is going green. It voted 32 to zero in favor of the formation of a Committee for Environmental Sustainability through the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, this week.Congress met on Feb. 9 to vote on this legislation. Advocate Mary Bogen ’11 explained the benefits of the committee and reiterated that the committee would not be under the umbrella Student Congress. Congress then unanimously voted in favor of this legislation.The next topic of discussion was the status of the Hellenic Student Association, which is currently a proposed club under the Board of Multicultural Student Affairs.
