Getting in shape for summer has become a reality for some dedicated students. Friar Boot Camp is a group toning and fat burning class that helps motivate students to reach their personal goals.The camp consists of five weeks of group training designed to build up muscle and core strength. Sponsored by the Department of Intramural and Recreational Sports, the class includes plyometrics, running, resistance training, kickboxing, core work, and games. Ashley Maheris ’10 and Michael Lewis ’11 are Concannon Fitness Center trainers who will be hosting the Boot Camp along with Jaclyn Fontaine, Assistant Director of Recreational Sports/Fitness.
