PCI: Who Will Win the Heisman? Part One: Sam Hartman

This year’s Heisman race is already over. Everyone wants to sit around and crown anyone who plays for Colorado, but as the temperature cools, so will their chances of winning anything of importance. They are an average team (at best) and the most overrated team I have seen in a decade. This will knock out Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

This year’s true Heisman can only be one man: Sam Hartman, quarterback of Notre Dame. Sam Hartman has been one of the most underrated players in college football for the past few years. Hartman has the second most passing yards in ACC history while he was at Wake Forest, and has taken another leap with the Irish. He has dominated every game so far this season, passing for over 1,000 yards and throwing 13 touchdowns with zero interceptions. This man is a walking stud.

Right now is the perfect time to get in on the Sam Hartman hype. Notre Dame’s schedule has been fairly weak to this point, besides a game at North Carolina State, which the Irish dominated. In order to win the Heisman, you have to give your best performances on the biggest stages. Hartman will have these opportunities in the coming weeks as Notre Dame’s schedule gets much more difficult. This week pins the Irish against Ohio State in what should be an all-time game. When Hartman leads Notre Dame to victory this week, which he will, he will become one of the top two favorites to win the Heisman. The other top candidate is reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams of USC. When they face each other in the coming weeks, Hartman will show the whole country who is really deserving of the Heisman. USC will get pushed around by a more physical and dominant Notre Dame team and Sam Hartman will be this year’s Heisman winner.
